Dormont Public Library is an independent community library located in the South Hills which works to empower, educate, and inspire the members of the Dormont community and the surrounding Pittsburgh area through a wide offering of social, academic, and community-based programming. These programs help to establish the Dormont Public Library as a place of learning and growth.

The Library is excited to announce that in conjunction with the Dormont Historical Society we will be presenting a special screening of the Historical Society's film, "A Walk Through Time: The Legacy of Dormont" on Wednesday, May 13th at 6:30pm. Representatives from the DHS will be on hand to answer questions, and copies of the film are available for $20. Proceeds benefit the Dormont Historical Society.

Celebrate Dormont Bird Week from Saturday, April 25th to Saturday, May 2nd! Join us at the library on 4/25 from 9:30am -12:00pm for a special Breakfast, Birds, and Spring Migration program! Enjoy Breakfast with Dormont Bird Town, educational workshops, a bird themed craft, and special bird storytime! All ages are welcome.
