The wonderful thing about such a unique and fun venue like Philly's Magic Gardens is you don't need to do anything crazy with decor. For this event, we stayed pretty minimal with a light peachy pink linen and a mix of bud vases to compliment the eclectic look of the space.

My favorite venues are those that are one of a kind. They often present more challenges in terms of logistics (weather plans, load in, event flow), but we love a challenge and thrive on creative problem solving.

Even if you're getting married in a colder month we want to try to get outdoor photos still! Here's some tips and tricks to make it happen!

- Keep in mind that the sun will set earlier (more of a reason to do a first look before your ceremony) and plan accordingly.

- Make sure you have some sort of jacket/fur/shawl to wear, even if you only wear it between shots. Don't forget about wedding party as well, if those photos will be outdoors.

- Be strategic about how far you're planning to walk between locations, if applicable. If it's cold AND windy, you're gonna be hating it!

- Think about just doing some photos outside and others inside. It's typically better to do couples portraits outside and keep family inside. Grandma will thank you!

- Always have an indoor backup option!
