Addison's Song

In the form of a simple cardboard box dropped on our door stoop this weekened - we received a wonderful reminder of the joy and lasting impact that the Addison’s Song book cart at Children's has upon families with infants in the NICU.

Thank you to the patient family who took the time to pay it forward by donating these books for future families to enjoy!

We find joy each day when Audrey hops off the bus, unpacks her backpack, and tells us about her day.

When she showed us her work today, our hearts grew. To celebrate “100 days,” her in-class assignment was “if you had $100 dollars, what would you do?” Her response: “I would donate it to Children's Hospital”

It’s so amazing, as her parents, that she shares the same appreciation for the facilty and staff that saved her life, and holds empathy for the families and Children that are receiving care within.

How blessed we are.
