ANOTHER TRUE ROCK AND ROLL STORY.

I late 1969, my band manager of Hard Willow (Geoff Jones) promoted a Three Dog Night concert in Columbus. As we drove past the theater, we saw that their name was misspelled. Somehow, I climbed up on the marquee and corrected it.

A union crew guy was also passing by and he spotted me on the marquee. Geoff informed me soon thereafter that I was banned from the theater for doing a union man's job. I was a 19-year-old scab. I did get in backstage after the show to hang with the band for a while.
