Young Steel

Steel City slam is committed to helping youth (ages 13-19) of Pittsburgh discover the power of their voices through spoken word. Through bi-monthly slamjams (slamjams sounds much more exciting then just "slams"), quarterly workshops, local and national opportunities, coaching, and mentoring Steel City Slam will provide Young Steel with a safe space where youth use their voices to bring about both personal and social transformation in a positive light.
