🚨VOLUNTEERS NEEDED🚨 On Saturday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., volunteers will be competing in the City of Pittsburgh Garbage Olympics to clean up trash across the City of Pittsburgh. Oakland has joined the challenge and registered four neighborhood teams: North Oakland, South Oakland, Central Oakland, and West Oakland. Oakland residents, Pitt students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are welcome and encouraged to help us beautify the neighborhood and show our Oakland pride!
 
Pitt students, staff, and faculty that wish to sign up for to compete on an Oakland neighborhood team should visit their preferred neighborhood Volunteer Portal link (there are separate volunteer opportunity/meeting location listings for Central, South, West and North Oakland).
 
Registration Links & Meeting Locations:
 
- South Oakland - Dan Marino Field (Frazier Street)
- Central Oakland - Zulema Parklet (Zulema Street)
- North Oakland - Outside of Clapp Hall
- West Oakland - Outside of Trees Hall
