Haley & Kaitlyn 10.25.24

It is not every often I get to do the photo-thing but I had the honor of capturing Haley & Kaitlyn’s wedding a few weeks ago.

This was a beautiful, highly emotional and sentimental day to say the least! They chose a small Friday afternoon ceremony at Preston Park in Butler, PA at the peak of fall foliage. This park was the site of Haley & Kaitlyn’s second date where they walked and talked for hours, and a spot that they visit together as often as possible! To end the day, Haley & Kaitlyn exchanged heartfelt, handwritten, deeply personal vows (including a sneaky Taylor Swift lyric) surrounded by their family, at the edge of a still and quiet pond. It was such a perfect day; the venue, the vows, and most of all the couple.

I must admit, this wedding was a special one for me! Haley and I have been friends for nearly 20 years (we met in elementary school 😅) so getting the opportunity to capture their day meant so much!

Fall weddings are always my favorite, the golden color palettes add such a warm feeling to the images. While editing, I was reminded of a line from Daylight by Taylor Swift that I think fit these pretty well - I once believed love would be (black and white), But it's golden (golden)
