If you were around for the teenage Kenny years then you know skating with my friends was life. Nothing else mattered back then. Not a camera, not how much money you had, not what we had to do tomorrow… Nothing… Skating is all we did every single day and night. ☀️🌙

Almost two decades later I still get rare chances to be apart of skating again just with a camera in my hands. It’s not often I shoot skating but when I do it just hits my heart in the right place. It takes me back to the best time of my life when we were young and free. 📸

Skateboarding will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s more than a sport. It teaches and forms who you become later in life from your resilience all the way to your creative outlook at the world. Skaters don’t see a hand rail as something to help you down stairs. They don’t see a ledge next to a business as a place to plant flowers. Skaters see the normal everyday object as an opportunity to throw down and push themselves to a new level. I owe a lot to skating and those people apart of my life back then. If I could right now, I’d choose to do it all over again. 🛹❤️
