Today we’re recognizing the women shaping engineering through work that is grounded in real-world application.

At Humotech, that includes Verity Rampulla, our engineering intern. Verity is a recent University of Pittsburgh graduate in biomechanical engineering, with a focus on prosthetics, orthotics, and assistive technology—areas where engineering decisions directly influence mobility and patient outcomes.

Her work reflects a thoughtful approach to how data, design, and clinical context come together to support better-informed decisions in rehabilitation and assistive care.
