The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has designated Point Park University's Student Human Resources Association as an affiliate student chapter!ππ
Club President Samantha Weber, who is a senior majoring in human resources management, said the affiliation will provide students additional benefits related to networking, internships, scholarship opportunities and career and educational resources.
"I enjoy SHRA because it helps HR students connect and form professional and personal relationships that help with our classes and careers," Weber said. "I also like that we get to connect with local HR professionals through the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association and Professor Sandra Mervosh's connections."
