Today we visited the Vive Rosa program, with , who spoke with Dr. Juan Carlos Rauda Monge, our project coordinator, to discuss cervical cancer and the support work that the NGO provides to patients suffering from this disease to help them overcome it.

At BHI, we are celebrating the women in health care who are caring for women, in remote corners where health care is not accessible.

My name is Vilma Maravilla and I'm a nurse at BHI. In my role as a nurse, I'm able to help women and I hope to inspire young girls to pursue their dreams in scientific fields.

It requires reliable vehicles, skilled drivers, and dedicated field staff willing to carry equipment into places with little or no infrastructure. These critical needs are often not covered by traditional grants, but they are essential to saving lives.
