Relatable God

We don't glorify God by giving up. As believers, it's not in our DNA to fold. 🤷🏿‍♀️

You CAN do what God put on your heart to do.

Matta fact, you CAN and you WILL.

It's wise. It's effective. And most importantly, it's biblical. 🙌🏿

Knowing how to engage the ones you are speaking to is a skill that can be developed, regardless of your personality type. (So introverts, be encouraged! You can do this!) Simply reading the room can unlock a wealth of information that can transform how you connect to others and how they relate to you. 🫂

I found myself doing this for YEARS, and didn't even realize that I was trying to micromanage God concerning His promises.

Conviction hit like a ton of bricks when I noticed how much I despised, loathed, DETESTED when people tried to micromanage me. Being micromanaged made me feel incapable, small, insufficient. But little did I know, I was treating God the exact 👏🏿 same 👏🏿 way 👏🏿.

I would justify my prayers with Scripture and telling myself that "I'm believing God for this to happen", all the while growing more and more frustrated when the promise never came.

If you're in a place where you are praying about the same thing over and over again, ask God to search your heart. We don't always know what is really going on inside, but God does.

Be humble enough to admit that maybe, just maybe, God is not holding up your blessing, but He is trying to reveal something about you to YOU.
