Desmone was founded in 1958 when Luke Desmone joined forces with his uncle, John Desmone. From day one, our founders believed in the art of design and its ability to create positive change in the world. We believe our role is to design for our clients’ needs — not our own. Successful projects, in our minds, use limited resources wisely and create places that people will embrace and make their own.

We loved hosting students from Shady Side Academy for the Immersive Program with Tipping Point !

Students explored what it means to be an architect and walked through the full design process, from concept to construction.

They also reimagined the Historic Blue Church in Wheeling, WV, collaborating on ways to preserve its character while giving it new purpose.

So inspired by their creativity, teamwork, and fresh perspectives!

Learning → casting → catching

After our fly fishing Lunch & Learn, team members took their new skills to Mingo Creek County Park last weekend to try them out firsthand.

The result? A day of hands-on learning, fresh air, and stronger team connections, plus two fish safely caught and released.

Celebrating 10 years in Morgantown!

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey, we couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s to what’s next.

Exciting to see progress underway in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood. Fencing is now up at the Memphis & Pearl site, marking the start of Phase 1 Brownfield Demolition & Remediation.

At Desmone, we’re proud to be leading this transformative mixed-use development centered around St. Luke’s Church and Pearl Road United Methodist Church. The project will bring new life to the site by introducing housing, retail, and public space, while thoughtfully reimagining elements of these historic structures for future use.

Looking forward to seeing this next chapter take shape and contribute to the ongoing revitalization of the corridor.
