Founded by bassist Beni Rossman, Starship Mantis was designed to bring together dance music with music that is also intellectually stimulating.Their music blends the new school pop-funk sounds of Jamiroquai with the jazz-fusion language of Snarky puppy, while also incorporating the on-stage pageantry of Parliament Funkadelic.
