Book Bannings in Prison: The Fight Against Censorship 09/26/2024

We hope you are able to join us this Monday September 30th at Carnegie Library for a special event hosted by CMU's english department with Moira Marquis, editor of "Books through Bars" and Sr. Manager of the Freewrite Project for Pen America and Stevie WIlson, a writer and activists incarcerated in PA.

They'll be discussing book bans in prisons and the movement to fight censorship behind bars. PPBP will be there tabling!
