ot paganism. with that you can see heavy influence of Shepard Fairey. which in itself is inspired by the works of Jasper Johnson, Marcel Duchamp, Robert Rauschenberg, and epically Barbra Kruger, and Robbie Conal. my take away, is that a dramatic splash of color on an otherwise black and grey painting, if done properly can add a level of depth, and emotion. with a limited pallet. Frank Miller, is another great example of that. also his use of angles and negative space is outstanding. Bos Ross. the amount of detail he puts into a background, only to cover 90% of it with the foreground. he basically makes 3 paintings on top of each other. and of course you cant work with spray paint without being a fan of Banksy. my take away from his work, is not to take yourself so seriously.
