I dream of springtime sunshine and grass I’m not allowed to eat,
Of zoomies in the backyard and stealing every sock I meet.

I dream of open windows, where the breeze smells like a snack,
And naps so deep and cozy I forget how to come back.

I’ll help you garden badly (I dig very helpful holes),
And chase absolutely nothing like it owes me money, bold.

I promise I’ll protect you from the mailman and his lies,
And bark at leaves that move wrong—safety first, that’s my advice.

I dream of couch privileges I’ll pretend you didn’t grant,
And puppy eyes so powerful they make your rules recant.

Spring days mean muddy paws and love that’s big and loud,
A home where I’m not “the puppy” but your favorite little cloud. ☁️

So if you’ve got a lap, a heart, and snacks you’re willing to share…
