Welcome back to National Student Parent Month at Pittsburgh Scholar House! Today, we are excited to introduce you to Khaliah, an inspiring student parent at PSH. Khaliah’s journey is nothing short of remarkable as she pursues her passion for art while juggling the responsibilities of being a dedicated mom. She’s currently working toward her art degree at Carlow University.

Khaliah’s goal is to establish herself as a professional visual artist, complete with her own art studio and opportunities to travel the world to showcase her creations. Her initial career choice was in nursing, but Khaliah’s decision to change her path reflects her belief in the importance of following one’s dreams and pursuing what brings joy.

The role of motherhood has played a role in shaping Khaliah’s educational experience. She acknowledges that struggling is a part of the journey to success. These challenges have become opportunities for her to work harder and define goals.

Khaliah’s journey serves as a testament to the power of one’s passion and capacity to adapt and grow. We look forward to witnessing Khaliah’s continued success!
