The countdown to a plastic wise city begins now. 💚
Starting January 1, 2025, plastic bags and plastic foodware are banned at Pinole businesses. 🚫🌍 Enforcement will not begin until July 1, 2025 to allow for businesses to receive free technical assistance and adapt to new requirements. From shopping bags to takeout containers, the switch to reusable and sustainable options will make for a cleaner, greener community.
Together, we can protect our environment and health and contribute to a future without plastic waste.
