These were fun to make. Among other “found” ephemera, I used luck greetings from a 1930 Lead SD yearbook. There are also kindergarten “recipes” from a friend’s Aberdeen classmates circa 1990s.

I scoured a 1930 Lead SD High School yearbook for “wishes of luck!”

I’m going on four years as the official scorekeeper for the South Dakota Poetry Out Loud state finals.

Monday’s competition at The Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls didn’t disappoint with five recitation and one original poetry finalists.

Damien Deen will travel to DC in April for a chance to win $20,000 at the national competition!
