Selling 65 Gelbvieh & Balancer Bulls along with 20 Bred and Open females.

We believe Gelbvieh and Balancer genetics produce
the hardest working females in the beef industry.
Gelbvieh cows produce heavy calves at weaning. Research conducted by MARC that was published in the Journal of Animal Science confirmed that Gelbvieh-sired females produce 22.7
more pounds of calf at weaning than any other British
or Continental breed when mated across breed
combinations. In today’s market, that equates to
nearly $100 per head on 550-pound steers, based on
unbiased, peer-reviewed research.

You will notice a few additional lots in this year’s
offering, as we have opened our replacement pens
to offer a select group of females from the heart of
our program. These females represent our highest
performing genetic lines, with several being maternal
or full sisters to bulls in the sale.
