Some pictures from the weekend. First one is Stephanie getting some snuggles from the kids after being gone for 24 hours. Second and third is me trying to convince logan to where his hat backwards cause I think it looks cute but he’s insisted on not hearing it lol. Fourth and fifth ones is me and the kids downtown grabbing bengals and coffee.

The last one is me gasping for air and getting out of the ice bath after submerging my head underneath the ice. Which I just want to add, attempting to dunk your head under is harder than your think. Like physically I wasn’t expecting my head to be so…… Floaty. 🤷‍♂️😅

MESSAGE IF YOUNHAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR TO RESERVE A SPOT AS I HAVE A LIMITED SUPPLY OF MACES TO LEND.
IF YOU HAVE A MACE AND WOULD LIKE TO JOIN THE CLASS, IT IS ONLY $10.

Have you heard of the new fitness practice called “Steel Mace Flow”? Have you been curious on what it’s about? Steel Mace Flow an open ended system of mobility/strength training, which allows for creativity and expression through movement. At just 10 lbs. ANYONE and everyone can benefit from using this modality at ALL FITNESS LEVELS. As with yoga, SMF is low impact, focusing on isometric tension holds throughout various ranges of motion. In turn, strengthening the nervous system which translates to muscular strength. It’s easy to modify with progression so it’s great for beginners as well as the most veteran fitness athlete/enthusiast.

To name a few key benefits you expect to gain with SMF are leg strength, greater shoulder mobility, rotational power, coordination, grip strength, mind to muscle connection. It is also a change of pace from the regular gym routine, keeping fitness fun and introducing new movement patterns. This class is a TOTAL BODY WORKOUT. I could go on and on listing and explaining the positives of training with the mace as there are many!

In this class I’ll do a quick introduction of the Steel mace before showing you a couple of movements. As you repeat the movements you’ll feel your body become more comfortable and fluid. Efficiently transitioning from movement to movement, piecing them together to create a flow. By repping the movements we are carving neuro pathways creating mind to muscle connections. The stronger and more connections we have in our bodies the more motion our bodies are efficient with, hence the more comfortable and safer we move throughout our daily lives. Hope to see you out there!
