When summer break began, Estrella worried about how she'd feed her children without school meals. Today, she visits SVdP's NextPhase Family Dining Room to help stretch her family's already tight budget.

Estrella isn't the only one. Since July 2025, more than 450,000 Arizonans have lost SNAP benefits, including nearly 200,000 children, leaving many families struggling to put food on the table.

As many of us look forward to celebrating the Fourth of July with good food and family, let's also remember families like Estrella's. Please consider making a gift to Fill the Food Bank through July 7 so SVdP can continue providing nutritious meals and food boxes to Arizona children and families in need.
