I miss Scott. That’s the short story here. Fan puns aside for a minute, longer story … I had forgotten I jumped at the preorder a while back. Got home for a short tour break to find it in the mail pile. I wasn’t as close to him as some of you I know. But man, this right now hits in a strange mix of : hell yeah, a different dimension of his creativity and personality gets a showcase… with just, loss. I don’t think I’m being selfish by saying that. I know I’m one small data point in what I’m sure is a vastly larger pool of people who share those feelings. So. There’s what you can do and then there’s everything else, right? When the what you can do pie graph slice just seems too small to make a difference in all hell, zoom in. The truth is there is more to actually do than you can imagine. The truth is you can change everything from a sense of dread to a cosmically large sense of possibility. See the adventure instead of the fear. Celebrate the tiny changes you can make. I’m not kidding in the slightest now. Savor making even the slightest difference for yourself. And the people around you. The juuust larger-than-tiny changes won’t seem so impossible.
