“Since day one of (and Upward Projects), we have been huge advocates of historical preservation. The time has come to change the way our state handles demolition. Upward Projects is actively working with city and other leaders to STOP these buildings from being demoed so easily - most recently with the White Gates by Al Beadle (same architect as ).
In my eyes, part of being a community is inciting change when it needs to happen - outside of things that may affect us directly. Phoenix is home to some of the most epic architecture and it’s worth preserving!” - , CEO + Co-Founder
