Minnetonka's Will Hop Inn opened in 1934 as a roadhouse serving bootleg liquor. Prohibition ended in 1933, but the inn's booze still came through Isadore (Kid Cann) Blumenfeld, the Minneapolis mobster and head of what was called the Liquor Syn-dicate. The original owners claimed to have a photograph of Kid Cann standing at their bar with a friend: Al Capone.
