They use their experience as a Black demiboy to open a dialogue where others can discuss their identities as well, coming together in community for listening, learning, educating, & expressing. In their work, the presentation of otherness is as theatrical as it feels.

I'm honored to have a verse (poem) on Gorgeous Jefe's new album "JIHAD OF THE SOUL," for the song "Thank God 4 Black Music."
This song is special because it encapsulates a conversation I often have with Jefe about our power, position, and potency as Black musicians in AZ. It also attempts to pay homage to a massive lineage of Black music by shouting out the powerhouses of our (Black) culture. Shoutout Alex, and everyone involved in the making of this project, which is a bold statement challenging the AZ rap ecosystem in both necessary and exciting ways.
