This a story & GoFundMe I saw on my Nextdoor App in the East Valley. Sadly this is a situation many Americans are facing or close to facing every day. I feel for this woman who is older and alone with her two dogs.

If you're not familiar with PROJECT CONNECT, yet -- these events are like a mobile satellite or pop-up HSC for a day.

We travel with various providers to an area that doesn't have a lot of services for people experiencing homelessness.

Posted • Blood donation rules have changed to be more inclusive! All Red Cross blood donors will now answer the same questions about health, travel and behavior, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. This allows more people to help save lives while keeping the blood supply safe. ❤️

For many years, we've worked to change the deferral policy for gay and bisexual men. While these eligibility changes are a significant milestone, there is still work to be done, and we will continue to provide data to the FDA in support of further changes.
