The AZ(LAND) Sombra Team is grateful and thrilled to have been apart of the Experiments in Shade Project which recently received the AZ Forward 2026 Crescordia award.

Thank you to all who were apart of this process from stepping out into the heat of the summer to build adobe bricks for the structure foundation to those that were presence the day of the install.
We’re so proud to uplift Indigenous environmentally resilient and sustainable design as we work to navigate the ensuing climate crisis.
