It was a cold call on a Wednesday afternoon in mid-October. This guy was interested in learning about our company because he had a music video to make…
for ED SHEERAN.
Wait…what? Mike Lamhang and his fiancé, Angie, self-proclaimed Sheeran super fans, had entered a contest to become one of 14 fans chosen from different countries worldwide to make a music video for one of the songs off Ed’s new album, ‘Autumn Variations.’ They won to represent the USA. Yep, it took us a minute to process this too. Mike was just a hobbyist filmmaker, but he’s got real talent and he and Angie had a strong vision. Before I knew it we were interacting with Ed’s record label and knee-deep in pre-production. Over the few short weeks that followed, we helped them develop the story, scout, coordinate, direct and finish the official video for Ed’s new hit track, “American Town.” We hope you like it.
