ACE Valentine's Day Fundraiser...
We need your help!
We want to invite ALL juniors and seniors to help with an ACE Valentine's Day fundraiser. We need ACE students to help assemble candygrams and other stuff on Tuesday, 2/12. We also need help selling on Wednesday, 2/13-Thursday, 2/14. Call 602-787-7170 or stop by the ACE office to sign up to help. Proceeds will go to ACE social activities, senior recognition (this year and next), and other fun stuff.

Dear ACE Students,
It is with mixed emotions that I write this letter.
I want to inform you all that Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, will be my last day working as the ACE Coordinator at PVCC. I have accepted a position more closely linked to my vocation and my passions; I will be serving in Guatemala as a mission worker through my denomination. The position is a minimum 3-year commitment and I anticipate leaving the country by May, 2013, after engaging in some orientations and other preparations.
I want you to know that the Early Outreach staff here at PVCC will continue to be here for all of you. Until a permanent replacement is hired, Heather Kruse and Roseanna Martinez will be your primary contacts. Roseanna Martinez is our new part-time ACE & Hoop of Learning Retention & Early Alert Specialist. Their contact information is listed below as well as additional staff in the Student Development/Early Outreach office who can assist you.
• Heather Kruse [email protected] 602-787-7246
• Roseanna Martinez [email protected] 602-787-7309
• Yolanda Reynoso [email protected] 602-787-7170
To assist our office staff with this transition, we ask that you come to the office with any questions you may have during the following hours if possible when Heather and/or Roseanna will be available to assist you.

I truly appreciate the opportunity that I have had to work with each of you and your families. You have shared with me your dreams and goals, as well as your struggles and challenges. I want you to know that, although I am very excited about this opportunity, the hardest part about leaving ACE & PVCC will be saying farewell to you students. I would really enjoy hearing from you as you continue your journeys. Please feel free to email my personal email at [email protected] to stay in touch. I will periodically check this account. I prefer not to say “goodbye” but “hasta luego” – until we meet again.
Please join us this Saturday, December 8th for Bonus Time in the KSC Student Union, 12:00-1:00pm. We'll be celebrating the end of the semester (and my new life adventure) as well as updating you all on Spring 2013.
Warm regards,
Leslie
