A working computer is essential to help access important information, conduct job searches, fill out healthcare paperwork, help integrate into their new societies, and to stay connected to friends and family around the world. PC’s for Refugees is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization run by a very small group of volunteers aiming to provide every refugee family here in Arizona with a desktop or lapto
Refugees are legal :)
Interestingly, in the past few days this came up quite a few times in our conversations even among our long term supporters.
Refugees are documented, legal residents by The Refugee Act of 1980 which established a process for admitting refugees into the country and granting them legal status.
Please continue supporting the non-profits involved in supporting refugees who are here in the US already.
