Osborn Maledon welcomes ASU Law student Yanneli Llamas as the 2022 Diversity Legal Writing scholar. The Diversity Legal Writing Program is a collaborative effort between Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU and local law firms. The program's intent is to broaden learning opportunities for second year law students from groups traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession. Through this program, students strengthen legal research and writing skills, gain exposure to private firm environments, and develop relationships with attorneys in the Phoenix legal community.

Mary O'Grady was recently elected a member of The American Law Institute (ALI). ALI is the leading independent organization in the U.S. producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize and improve the law. By participating in its work, members have the opportunity to influence the development of the law in both existing and emerging areas, to work with other eminent lawyers, judges and academics and to give back to the profession and the public good.
