Storytellers Project

. We believed oral storytelling and journalism served and reflected a community, while developing empathy in that community. These nights blended the authenticity and discipline of storytelling with the truthfulness, community-building and empowerment that’s at the heart of great journalism. Since its 2011 founding, the Project had coached more than 700 people to tell at about 120 events. They were designed to cultivate and affirm feelings of loyalty, deep engagement and trust.
