As I sit and reflect today, I find myself thinking about the people who quietly carry some of life’s heaviest responsibilities. They aren’t often in the spotlight, and many of us don’t realize the impact they have until we’ve needed them ourselves.

I’m talking about house managers.

Whether they’re serving in sober living, transitional housing, veterans’ programs, or other community settings, they often become the heartbeat of the home. They create order out of chaos, stability out of uncertainty, and hope where hope may have been lost.

Their days are filled with difficult conversations, setting healthy boundaries, offering encouragement, managing conflict, and sometimes loving people through seasons when those individuals can’t yet love themselves.

It’s not glamorous work.

It requires patience when patience is running low.
Compassion when emotions are high.
Accountability when it’s unpopular.
Strength when they’re exhausted.
And faith that the seeds they’re planting today will someday bear fruit.

The truth is, many lives are changed because someone chose to step into this role and say, “I care enough to help.”

To every house manager, mentor, caregiver, and servant leader who has accepted this responsibility, thank you.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make.
Thank you for choosing service over convenience.
Thank you for believing that people deserve second chances.
Thank you for being a source of hope, even on the hard days.

The work you do may not always make headlines, but it changes lives. Families are restored, dreams are rebuilt, and communities are strengthened because of people like you.

Never underestimate the difference one caring heart can make.

With gratitude,

𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥? 🔥

LaQuincia Nichols dropped this gem at International SHERO Entrepreneur Day and it's been living in our heads ever since:

"𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 - 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹."

So many of us dread selling. We feel pushy. We feel awkward. We undercharge and over-apologize. But what if the problem was never your product or your pitch?

What if it was just the story you were telling yourself?

That shift? It changes everything.

💬 Tell us below.

“W𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘨𝘰 𝘰𝘧?”
