General information
Recommendations based on chemical analyses of irrigation water, pre-plant soil analyses and periodic sampling of plant tissue are provided by IAS laboratories to the grower. High priority is given to samples of IAS Crop Programs, so chemical analyses and recommendations are provided to the grower within 24 hours from receipt of the samples at the laboratory. These timely and thorough recommendations enable the grower to avoid applying unneeded nutrients, resulting in cost savings, and they enable the grower to achieve higher yields by eliminating nutrient deficiencies, some of which are “hidden hunger” that impede growth but are not visible.
