One month with our Bebe de Oro ✨

Sebastian Paul Dizon was born October 20th at 5 lbs 2 oz. Our boy was four weeks early, and spent a little time in the NICU while mommy was also still on some meds & recovering. Daddy never left his side. And my mom never left mine. I am so grateful to them both ❤️

The induction was a little bit of a nightmare, honestly. I would 0/10 recommend an induction so early, but because of medical issues with me, we had to do it. It was a long & hard process—but he arrived safe & sound. And though he was early, Sebastian was STRONG 💪🏻💙 He never needed any help with breathing & passed every single blood sugar & temp check.

After about a week in the hospital in total, we finally came home & it has felt like the classic newborn whirlwind: sleepless nights, zombie vibes, late night feedings, tons of adjustment for our little family. Shout out to big sis AKA Ate Sophia 🇵🇭 who is the BEST sister. She truly loves her little brother!

When we lost baby Justin earlier this year, my mom said “Sebastian es nuestro niño de oro, vale por dos. Cuídamelo.” And we strive to do that every day. With immense gratitude in our hearts, we love love love our golden boy 🩵 Every moment is a gift with you, sweetie.
