🌟 Proud to Present the Patriot Award 🌟

AZ ESGR Volunteer W R McCollom had the honor of recognizing exceptional service at the Homeland Security Investigations office in Tucson, AZ. The Patriot Award was presented to Mike Rose in recognition of his outstanding support and leadership.

Although Lt. Col. Salvatore Flores, who nominated Mr. Rose, couldn’t be there due to active duty, he shared heartfelt words about Mike’s unwavering support. In his nomination, Lt. Col. Flores highlighted how Mike has consistently demonstrated professionalism, support for PME studies, and flexibility to accommodate active duty service.

The presentation was held in the conference room with the presence of Special Agent in Charge Mr. Francisco Burrola and the Deputy Special Agent, making it a truly meaningful event.

Afterwards, Mike graciously toured McCollom of the office, where I was impressed by a wall displaying photos of all the service members within the team—featuring a proud picture of Lt. Col. Flores in uniform.

It was a privilege to honor such dedicated individuals who serve and support our community and country every day.

On Saturday, AZ ESGR Volunteers Patrick McDermott and Bill Pupo participated in the 944th Fighter Wing Air Force Reserve Luke AFB Pre-Deployment Block Party, supporting service members and their families. The event featured a barbecue, engaging activities, and valuable resources from local community partners.

A wonderful day of celebration and support.

Today, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the brave heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy 81 years ago. Their valor helped shape the course of history and secured freedom for millions.

We honor their memory and are forever grateful for their sacrifice. Let us never forget the bravery displayed on that pivotal day.
