Memorial Day weekend is here, and if you’re still figuring out what to make, I’ve got you covered with a few easy, festive recipes that are perfect for celebrating ☀️🇺🇸

If you need something fresh to balance out all the cookout food, this salad is SO good. Sweet strawberries, crunchy toppings, and balsamic dressing make it the perfect side dish.
 
I love having a few simple recipes like these on hand for holiday weekends — festive enough to feel special, but easy enough that you can still enjoy the weekend too.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a mom, it’s that having easy snacks ready to go can make the whole day run smoother. Especially when everyone is suddenly hungry right now 😬
 
These are 3 gluten-free snacks I almost always have prepped or stocked in our house because they’re simple, filling, kid-approved, and made with ingredients that actually keep my kids satisfied.
 
Here are my kids’ favorites:

🍫 Chocolate Coconut Protein Balls
These are one of my favorite grab-and-go snacks for busy days. They’re naturally sweetened, packed with protein and healthy fats, and taste like a little chocolate treat.

🥜 Chocolate Peanut Butter Chia Pudding
Creamy, chocolatey, and full of fiber and protein. I love making this ahead for an easy afternoon snack or even breakfast.

🍌 Chocolate Banana Protein Muffins
These muffins disappear FAST in our house. They’re soft, chocolatey, freezer-friendly, and perfect for lunchboxes or quick snacks between activities.

These 3-Ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies are one of those “throw it together during naptime” kind of recipes — no fuss, no complicated steps, and no long ingredient list.
 
All you need:
* Ripe bananas
* Oats
* Nutella (or your favorite nut butter)
That’s it!
 
They come out soft, naturally sweet, and perfectly chewy… basically the perfect little treat when you want something homemade but don’t have the time (or energy) to go all out.
 
I love making these on busy afternoons when the kids want a snack now and I don’t want to reach for something packaged. Plus, they’re forgiving — you can eyeball things a bit, swap in peanut butter or almond butter, and they still turn out delicious.
