Qualifications:

β€’ 1–3 years of experience in sales and client relationship management.
β€’ Industry experience is a plus, but not required. We're looking for someone with excellent people skills, a passion for building relationships, and a willingness to learn.
β€’ A degree is a bonus, but not required.
β€’ Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on ex*****on.
β€’ Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and personal accountability.
β€’ Passion for developing professional relationships within the design-build community, including builders, architects, designers, and homeowners.
β€’ Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Smart Home Business Developer for Performance Audio Video, you will be responsible for:

β€’ Generating new business opportunities and selling smart home, audio/video, security, networking, and electrical projects.
β€’ Managing incoming leads and opportunities throughout the sales pipeline.
β€’ Building and maintaining relationships with homeowners, builders, designers, architects, and other industry professionals.
β€’ Representing Performance Audio Video with professionalism and integrity.
β€’ Learning and helping improve our business development strategy.
β€’ Identifying opportunities to expand our presence within the luxury home, construction, and design communities.
β€’ Meeting clients onsite to assess their technology needs and develop solutions.
β€’ Collaborating with our team to create customized proposals.
β€’ Guiding clients through the consultation and sales process while ensuring a smooth handoff to project management and service teams.
β€’ Networking, attending industry events, and cultivating referral partnerships to generate new business.
β€’ Following up on leads, maintaining CRM records, and helping ensure a consistent sales pipeline.
