As Spring is turning into summer, KITTEN SEASON is upon us. Looking for a new cat? Before looking at local shelters or private purchase, consider providing a new home to a stray from our community!

In the 2+years I've been in the community, (unfortunately) I've helped rescue 15 stray kittens. Can you imagine what our stray cat population would be if not getting these babies tended to & adopted before they could continue to breed in our neighborhood!? 2/3 have been female.... that's possibly at least 9+babies per year per female! O.o

Currently we have these BEAUTIFUL totally tamed & loving furrbabies available for furr-ever homes. Just a couple disclaimers for our community: (1) no animal (cat, dog, horse, whatever) is allowed to leave your property absent an owner on leash/reign (and I've never known an outside cat to respect human imposed boundaries lol), & (2) to the extent you allow your cat to go outside without you, (like Bob Barker said) spay & neuter your pets. 😉

In this pic, the grey BOY we call Char (named short for charcoal) He's ok with easy going dogs & any cat.
The 2 Calicos (obviously girls) - middle we call Cinna (short for cinnamon, bc orange ear) also ok with easy going dogs & on left we call Katniss (bc, how couldn't you when 1 is Cinnna 😆 hunger games lol) she's not a really a fan of dogs but gets around them & stays outta the way lol.

In light of the overloaded nature of local shelters who have not been able to intake animals, we can only keep the stray population in our community down with your assistance. Please also feel free to share this post with your network of friends & family.
