Pre-drywall inspections…. Important, or not?… here is a perfect example of why you need a pre-drywall inspection. This house didn’t have a sill plate gasket, anchor bolts were not up to code, in fact they weren’t bolts at all. Also this home’s structural members were bowed in almost every load bearing wall. All of the issues this house had would of been hidden by the interior finishes. These issues need to be documented and taken care of before they start the next phase. ARE YOU DOCUMENTING EACH PHASE?
