J&R Junk Removal found our first scorpion of 2026 on a job this week 😳

Out here in Arizona, it’s not if you’ll run into one… it’s when. These little guys love hiding in junk piles, wood stacks, furniture, and anything that hasn’t been touched in a while.

✔️ Visual inspection first – We check piles, furniture, and debris before touching anything
✔️ Slow & controlled removal – No rushing when dealing with clutter where pests can hide
✔️ Proper footwear – Boots only. No exceptions
✔️ Shake & check – Items, tarps, and equipment get checked before handling
✔️ No direct contact – If we see one, we don’t try to grab it—disturbing them increases sting risk �
