A home might come back to the market if the buyer's financing falls through, making it impossible for them to secure a mortgage. Significant issues discovered during the home inspection may also lead the buyer to back out if they can't reach an agreement on repairs. Contract contingencies, such as the buyer needing to sell their current home first, can also cause the deal to fall through if the conditions aren't met. These factors, along with potential changes in the buyer's personal circumstances, can all contribute to a home being relisted on the market.
