I make fun music. Party music. The kind you play when you’re feeling good and want to feel free.

But I’m also paying attention.

We’re at an inflection point in history, and pretending everything is fine is a choice I don’t want to make. ICE is killing people. Climate change is sweeping the nation. And fascism is here.

This song, “The Bible,” came from sitting with the weight of what I see around me. For me, being an artist isn’t just about escapism. It’s about telling the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable, and using whatever platform I have to stand up when injustice shows itself.

Now feels like the moment to speak. And to actually DO SOMETHING. Talk to your people and get organized.
