I searched for, “𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘯” in my notes app and these words from nearly 𝑠𝑖𝑥 𝑦𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑠 𝑎𝑔𝑜 popped up ☆ time flies when you are mostly confused but following your heart ☆
that note is from 2019. Fast forward to 2025 and here I am, smiling before the Leg™️ that completely took over my life for six months. The 8ft-tall chicken leg with eyes.. and 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘴 that I built in my studio in downtown phx and then le***an u-hauled to telluride, co. Because I love art ? and I am committed to the bit. Because 𝐈’𝐦 𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥. And because I’ll cry if I want to. And because 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘣𝘪𝘨 . Also, because someone asked me to do this ? Because there is community and support and literal magic in bringing such a monstrosity to fruition.
