James Ijames, TFMA ’06, is a Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, actor, educator, and Temple alumnus whose work has captivated audiences across the country. Through acclaimed productions like “Fat Ham”, James explores themes of identity, belonging, family, and community while creating space for new voices and perspectives to be heard.

A leader in Philadelphia's theater community, James continues to inspire future generations of artists through his creativity, teaching, and commitment to storytelling.
