Thank you for your interest in holding your event at Fairmount Rowing Association. Some helpful facts are below to assist in your planning:

• Fee is $1700 (checks only please) plus a refundable $500 security deposit. The security deposit is due immediately and
the balance is due 30 days in advance of your event. The security deposit is refundable.
• In addition to the $1700 rental fee $200 cash setup and cleanup fee is due to our chaperone the day of your event.
• Your date is reserved upon receipt of your security deposit. If we correspond by phone or email and you express interest in a date and someone else sends a security deposit for that date, the date is theirs
• Our capacity is about 150
• We have air conditioning and 2 gas fireplaces
• We have chairs and tables for about 80 to be seated
• We have 3 long tables for food staging
• If you would like to see the house, I row on Thursday night and could meet you at about 7pm. Saturday is an early morning row I can meet you 8:30 am – 10am
• A member of FRA will chaperone your event and be available to let you in, help you with any needs you have during your event, set up tables and chairs, and cleanup after
• If alcohol is served at your event you will need to secure HOST LIQUOR LIABILITY insurance that SPECIFICALLY NAMES FAIRMOUNT ROWING ASSOCIATION as insured. Many times this can be arranged through your caterer if you are using one. If not, you are welcome to use the link below: http://www.kandkinsurance.com/sites/Events/Pages/Home.aspx
• You have use of the front deck, back deck, and the main level of the boathouse. The upstairs locker room and lower level are off limits. The exception to this is sometimes the caterer will set up downstairs in the shell house which is fine. Guests are not allowed in that area.
• There is no smoking in the boathouse or on the grounds.
• Parking on Sedgley Drive is free and unlimited in terms of time.
• Parking on Kelly Drive and the parking lots next to Lloyd Hall are in accordance with the posted signs. Please read and understand them so you and your guests are not ticketed or towed.
