Free Migration Project

Robert suffered a medical emergency resulting in him being in a coma up until recently. His wife, Joanna, has fought for his care every step of the way, even through what could have easily turned into a medical deportation. Free Migration Project has been supporting this family through difficult conversations with the hospital and by bringing a community together around Robert and Joanna. But the accident and the hospitalization has put a serious strain on the family monetarily considering the amount of care he still needs.

Last month FMP's Deputy Director, Adrianna, spoke at a Pennsylvania Immigration Coalition (PIC) convening to establish priorities for 2026. FMP is a proud member of PIC and during this time especially organizations must come together to create lasting change and protect the immigrant community here in Philadelphia and across Pennsylvania.

On Thursday, the ICE Out legislation will be introduced in City Hall. Come out to demand City Councilmembers sponsor and support this legislation to protect our community members! Meet us on the 4th floor and don’t forget your ID.
