Feels so wonderful to be set up back at The Stone Church in Brattleboro, VT.

Absolutely love playing this beautiful space. I don’t know why, but it almost feels holy and transcendent in a way. Could be just me though! 😉

One of my favorite things about being on tour is visiting used CD stores and finding things to listen to while driving the van. Today I found this Derek Trucks Band Live at Georgia Theatre 2003 CD signed by the man himself. Thanks to Paul, for passing it along.

Fun fact, when Consider the Source played the Georgia Theatre about 10 years ago Derek was there hanging at the venue. I grabbed him and brought him to our green room to meet Gabriel and check out his guitar. Gabe played for a moment and Derek said “reminds me of Debashish Bhattacharya” to which Gabe responded “he was my teacher, I am his disciple!”. Was a cool moment in CTS Tour history.

I’ll be spinning this CD on our drive to play Erie, PA tonight. We hit the stage at 11:15pm. Gonna be a late one!
